Useful Tips
Below are some useful tips for when you visit Charlotte:
- Charlotte is a very decentralized city and therefore we recommend that you stay in an Uptown (also referred to as Center City) hotel, at the Duke Mansion, or at a hotel along the lightrail.
- Charlotte has a very good bus system that will allow guests to get around the city with ease. In addition, we have one leg of our light rail completed. It travels from Uptown Charlotte to South Blvd and 485.
- For our Charlotte sightseeing tours please wear comfortable clothing for your tour. For cycling and walking we recommend comfortable walking or tennis shoes.
