Plaza Midwood

The first thing you will notice is that the neighborhood is spread out.  A neighborhood this size in New York would be home to several million people.  Instead, the locals enjoy their space while still living in close enough proximity to their neighbors.  Plaza Midwood is home to several restaurants that have been highlighted on the Food Network.  It is also home to several taverns.  It is the gateway to the ethnic food in Charlotte.  Central Avenue goes right through Plaza Midwood.  Beginning at the Plaza heading east on Central you will be able to find restaurants and grocery stores representing South American, Eastern European, Western European, Latin American countries.  Plan to spend 3-4 hours and explore the area.  There is sooo much to see.  If you get lost, southerners are REALLY FRIENDLY...just ask one for help.  Cheers!
